B737 CB Privacy Policy

Effective October 14, 2026

B737 CB is an app by Vecihi LLC for iPhone, iPad and Mac. It shows where every circuit breaker (CB) of the 737 NG and 737 MAX is. This policy explains what the app does with your data. In short: your data stays with you, and we don’t collect any of it.

We don’t collect your data

  • No account, and no sign-in in the app.
  • No advertising, no analytics, no tracking and no crash reporting.
  • No third-party code. Apart from its own code, the app uses only Apple’s frameworks.
  • No server of ours. The app never sends anything to us.

The only data of yours that can reach us is an email you decide to send us yourself (see below). Apart from that, Apple gives every app developer, us included, information that does not identify you: statistics such as downloads and sales, and crash reports if you chose to share analytics with app developers in your device’s settings.

What stays on your device

What you create in B737 CB is saved on your device:

  • your Favorites and notes (My Note on a CB page)
  • your own CBs (My CBs)
  • the CB Tracker: its entries, including any reason and work order you type, and its history
  • Recents and Recent Searches
  • your settings

Recents keeps the last 30 CBs you opened, Recent Searches the last 12 searches, and the CB Tracker history the last 300 reset entries; older ones are deleted automatically. Recents, Recent Searches and your settings are never synced, and the app never sends them anywhere. Like other apps’ data, the app’s data is included in your device’s backups. If the data file is ever damaged, the app sets it aside on your device instead of overwriting it.

iCloud sync

iCloud Sync is on by default, and you can turn it off. While you are signed in to iCloud, it keeps these the same on your iPhone, iPad and Mac:

  • your Favorites and notes
  • My CBs
  • the CB Tracker, while Include CB Tracker is on (it is also on by default)

Recents, Recent Searches and settings are never synced.

Apple stores the synced data in your own iCloud account. It never passes through a server of ours, and we cannot see it. The app checks only whether you are signed in to iCloud; it never reads your Apple Account name or email address. If you are not signed in, nothing is synced.

The app syncs when it opens or comes to the front, about a second after you change something, and when iCloud brings a change from your other devices.

To stop syncing, turn off Settings › Sync › iCloud Sync. To keep the tracker on this device only, turn off Include CB Tracker. Turning either off deletes nothing: your data stays on this device, and what is already in iCloud stays in your iCloud. On the Mac, Sync is in the General tab of the Settings window.

Spotlight, Siri and Handoff

So that you can find a CB from your device’s search, the app adds CBs to Spotlight on your device: every CB of the 737 NG, the 737 MAX CBs while the 737 MAX Pack is unlocked, and your own CBs, including any panel label you typed. Your notes, Favorites, CB Tracker, Recents and searches are never added. The Spotlight index stays on your device.

Siri and Shortcuts (Find a CB, Open a CB, Open a Panel) use only the data on your device. When you choose a CB in Shortcuts, your device suggests your Recents and Favorites. The app does not report your activity to Siri. When you speak to Siri, Apple processes the request, and the app receives only the CB or panel you asked for.

If Handoff is on in your device’s settings, a CB or panel you have open can be continued on your other devices signed in to the same Apple Account. Handoff carries only which CB or panel is open, never your notes or tracker.

Sharing

Share, Share Favorites, Share Active List, Share the App and Copy Position send only what you choose, to where you choose, through the system share sheet or clipboard. Share Active List includes each entry’s reason and work order. The image shared from a CB page shows its panel, including your own CBs on that panel. Your notes are never shared.

Purchases

The 737 MAX Pack is an optional one-time in-app purchase from the App Store. Apple handles the payment; we never see your payment details or your Apple Account.

To unlock the 737 MAX, the app asks the App Store whether you own the pack: when the app opens, when it comes to the front, after a purchase or Restore Purchases, and when the App Store reports a change. Restore Purchases may ask you to sign in to the App Store. You can also start the purchase in the App Store; the app then completes it the same way. The app sends nothing about your purchase to us.

Email to us

Report a Correction, on a CB page and in Settings › Data, opens your own mail app with a message to dev@vecihi.com. To help us find the problem, it is filled in with the app version, the versions of the CB data and your operating system version, and, if the report is about a CB, that CB’s name, position and ID. You see the whole message and can change it. Nothing is sent unless you send it. The message never includes your notes, Favorites, CB Tracker, own CBs, settings or anything that identifies your device.

If you send it, or write to us any other way, we receive your message and your email address. We use them only to reply to you and to correct the data. We don’t share them, and we delete them if you ask.

Network

B737 CB works offline and has no networking code of its own. It goes online only through Apple’s services, or when you open a link:

  • the App Store, to show the 737 MAX Pack and check your purchase
  • iCloud, while iCloud Sync is on
  • Handoff, if it is on
  • links you tap in the app (its App Store page, this policy and our website), which open in your browser or the App Store

Deleting your data

  • Recent Searches: Settings › Search › Clear Recent Searches, or Clear next to Recent Searches in Search
  • Recents: Clear Recents in Recents
  • Favorites: Remove from Favorites
  • notes: delete the text of My Note
  • CB Tracker: Delete Entry, Clear History, or Settings › CB Tracker › Clear Tracker History
  • your own CBs: Delete My CB… on its page, or Settings › Data › Delete All My CBs…

Deleting one of your own CBs also deletes its favorite and note; CB Tracker entries keep its name and position until you delete them. When you delete a favorite, note, tracker entry or one of your own CBs, the app keeps a small deletion record (its ID and dates) so that your other devices delete it too.

While iCloud Sync is on, what you delete is also deleted from iCloud and your other devices; for the CB Tracker, only while Include CB Tracker is on. To remove synced data from iCloud, delete it in the app while iCloud Sync is on: deleting the app does not remove it from iCloud. Deleting the app from an iPhone or iPad removes its data from that device; on a Mac, macOS may keep the app’s data after the app is deleted. On the Mac, these settings are in the Settings window: Search and CB Tracker in the General tab, Data in the Data & About tab.

Children

B737 CB is a reference for pilots and aircraft maintenance technicians and is not directed at children. It collects no personal information from anyone, children included.

Changes

When the way the app handles your data changes, we update this page and its effective date.
